Re: Call for Applications – 2025 ATU Referee Education Program

 

Dear ATU Taekwondo Family

 

Warm greetings from the Asian Taekwondo Union.

 

The ATU is pleased to announce the 2025 ATU Referee Education Program (Kyorugi, Poomsae, Para Taekwondo), to be held under the direct organization of ATU. This program is designed to enhance the professionalism and practical capacity of referees, strengthen fair and transparent competition management, and expand international referee exchange across Asia, thereby contributing to the sustainable growth of Taekwondo and the elevated standard of Asian competitions.

 

Program Information

- Title: 2025 ATU Referee Education Program (Kyorugi, Poomsae, Para Taekwondo)

- Participants: Up to 100 International Referees from the Asian Region (WT IR license holders,

             Open to all)

※ If applications exceed the limit, adjustments may be made for countries submitting multiple

participants.

- Participation Fee: Free of Charge

- Date: December 17–20, 2025 (Check-in: Dec. 16 / Check-out: Dec. 21)

- Venue: Korea National Sport University (1239, Yangjae-daero, Songpa-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea)

- Provided by ATU: 5 nights hotel accommodation (with breakfast/shared by 2 people) &

local transport between hotel and venue

- To be arranged individually: Airfare and airport–hotel transportation

- Application Deadline: October 20, 2025 (11:59 pm, KST)

- Application Method: Submit completed application form via email to admin@asiantu.org

 

*Special Note: Referees who achieve excellent performance or demonstrate exemplary participation will be awarded a certificate of recognition and may be given priority for referee selection at ATU-promoted competitions in 2026.
