Re: Bipartite application system for Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games

Dear Sir/Madame,

I send you my warmest greetings from World Taekwondo.

For the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games bi-partite invitations will be available is some medal events. Bi-partite invitations are what is commonly referred to as “wild cards”.

World Taekwondo will utilize the IPC Sport Data Management System (SDMS) to administrate the bi-partite invitation applications.

In the case you have athletes that you want to apply for bi-partite invitations for you need to contact your National Paralympic Committee.

Important dates:

May 4, 2020      Start of the bi-partite invitation application process in the SDMS

May 18, 2020    Deadline for NPCs to submit applications for bi-partite invitations

May 25, 2020    WT notifies in writing to the NPCs the allocation of bi-partite invitations
