Asian Taekwondo Union (ATU) is glad to announce the recent achievement of Mr. Sivam (from Malaysia) who has successfully completed the requirements of the WT Classifier course Level 2 to become a certified International Para Taekwondo Technical Classifier, after being evaluated thoroughly by the WT Para Taekwondo Classification Committee (supervised by Dr. Hadwah Moawad - Chair of the committee ) during the Asian Qualification Tournament for Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, which was held in Tai’an - China on March 17, 2024. 

Mr. Mohamed Bin Jamal - Chairman of the Asian Para Taekwondo Committee, congratulated Mr. Sivam on his achievement and for joining the team of the International Para Taekwondo technical classifier. Mr. Bin Jamal believe that the presence of Mr. Sivam is considered a positive addition to the Asian Para Taekwondo under the leadership of Prof. Kyu Seok Lee (President of Asian Taekwondo Union). ATU is looking forward for Mr. Sivam's contribution in his new task in the upcoming championship to classify more Para Taekwondo athletes to advance the Para Taekwondo at the Asian and world levels. 

Finally, Mr. Bin Jamal has expressed his appreciation to the effort and cooperation between Asian Taekwondo Union (ATU) under the leadership of Professor Kyu Seok Lee (President of ATU), the WT Para Taekwondo Committee (headed by Mr. Usman Dildar – chair) and WT Para Taekwondo Classification Committee (headed by Dr. Hadwah Moawad – chair) by conducting well-structured training programs to graduating batches of international classifiers to strengthen the Para Taekwondo classifiers, which helps in unifying the classification criteria for the Para Taekwondo athlete participation.
